Southport Pleasureland 1964

A trip to Southport is child's play, and fun for adults too, in this film from talented amateur filmmaker Ralph Brookes. Whether they are on the Lakeside Miniature Railway or the fairground rides, all three generations of the family seem to be enjoying themselves, particularly the filmmaker's wife Elisabeth and young Philip, both in bright red hats, who try out everything with enthusiasm.
