Britain's number one tennis player interviewed re LTA decision to have an open
Wimbledon in 1968 with resultant international dissent. Mrs. Jones discussed
the possibility of turning professional and forecast various changes which
would result from end of shamateurism. Believes women should get higher
percentage of prize money and that professionals will not settle for present
standard of umpiring and line judging at top amateur tournaments.
