The Box
Established in 1992, the South West Film & Television Archive collection spans from 1893 to the present day containing more than 250,000 items. Formed from a variety of depositors, including broadcast news and programmes material from the Westward and TSW archive. In 2018 the archive collection transferred to The Box in Plymouth.

Reporter Stephen Matthews gauges public reaction to the latest police campaign to combat thefts from cars with this talking Ford Escort Mk I. Devon and Cornwall Police aim to encourage drivers to lock their cars in an effort to clamp down on thefts of luggage, transistor radios and of the car itself. In 1975 in Devon and Cornwall car crime was on the increase and it was common to leave your car unlocked or its manual windows wound down leaving thieves to act opportunistically.
