Peter Plant takes to the streets of Leamington Spa following the publication of a report by the Runnymead Trust that praises the race relations record of the Warwickshire town. In 1971 multiculturalism may not have been the buzzword it was to become but a positive story was a step in the right direction and a bright spot in what was often a racially divided decade.
