Plymouth Argyle v Exeter City

Exeter City was formed initially from two clubs Exeter United and St. Sidwell's United, after a match where Exeter United lost 3-1, the teams decided to join and become Exeter City in 1904. They began playing on an old field, the now St. James' Park, which is still their home ground today. Exeter City Football Club is owned by the Exeter City Supporters' Trust. Plymouth Argyle became a professional club in 1903. The club takes its nickname, "The Pilgrims", from an English religious group that left Plymouth for the New World in 1620. Their fans are known as “the Green Army” and the team play at Home Park.
