Racing on the Sea Wall

Mr Bird of Pakenham in Suffolk recorded scenes in Lowestoft, including at the port and harbour, on the water, and through the town centre. A car journey from Oulton Broad to Lowestoft captures travelling through the town centre where the exterior of a cinema advertises the 1921 silent film “A Perfect Crime”. The final scenes show crowds gathered to watch motorcycle and car racing along the sea wall. A great record from the 1920s.
