Frostbites at Whitlingham

The Norfolk 14-foot One Design dinghy is a varnished mahogany, clinker built, Broads sailing dinghy with a gunter rig. The dinghies seen here were built by Herbert Wood of Potter Heigham and through diligent maintenance many are still in regular use today. These dinghies can be sailed single-handed but sail better with the weight of two crew - on calm days the technique of leaning the boat away from the wind captures what little breeze there is, as shown in the footage.
